Machouyou 1 pce

The Machouyou is a small device in food-grade silicone intended for children from 2 to 6 years. It replaces the thumb and and is a substitute for a soother to help children stop the sucking habit which moves the teeth out of line.

The Machouyou allows the child to chew and abandon the sucking reflex (even of the tongue). Children who eat food that is too soft are left with a characteristic smile and are likely to suffer from orthodontic and posture problems in the future.

Its shape is designed to improve the functioning of the chewing muscles as well as those of the lips, cheeks and tongue. 

The outer part with the “Machouyou’s smile” makes it possible to attach a small ribbon to personalise it and a soother clip so the Machouyou doesn’t get dropped.
However, it is absolutely forbidden to tie a cord to it which could accidentally strangle the child.Its rabbit head shape is a reminder that baby rabbits have teeth that grow throughout their lives and that it’s important for them to chew and to use their teeth.
The orange colour was chosen in reference to our friend the Rabbit’s carrot, but also to other fruit and vegetables (clementines, oranges, tangerines, apricots, pumpkin, etc.).
